Morley Hayes

A high class venue with a fantastic location needed a media and advertising image to match.

Challenge

Morley Hayes wanted to increase enquiries from their Radio campaigns which had begun to fall off from historically high levels.

We knew radio was the right medium but we wanted to create a more ‘up market’ and exclusive feel towards Morley Hayes.

We also wanted to target some geographical areas and raise awareness of the wide range of facilities and services Morley Hayes offered.

Strategy

By introducing dramatically different Radio creative to freshen up the Radio advertising and give it a new impetus without losing the brand awareness we had already established.

We wanted to look at cost effective ways to make the advertising stand out and increase it’s impact on air.

We also wanted to link the individual product areas together but have the flexibility to advertise the individual service facilities on offer.

Solution

We commissioned and introduced a bespoke musical identity with a beautifully sung vocal to use on all radio commercials. It gave an instant ‘Up market’ and quality feel to the music without being elitist.

Selecting a perfectly matched voice over was also vital. The sung line ‘More, much more….at Morley Hayes’ was a strong and clear message especially when the sung vocal fitted perfectly within the music.

By also including a generic message promoting the whole venue and all it’s facilities we had an instant winner. It also gave us the flexibility to run topical commercials promoting individual facilities such as Golf, Hotel, Wedding venue or dining opportunities.

Morley Hayes at last had a radio image and brand to match the superb facilities they have.

Results

The enquiries and booking levels from Radio increased beyond all previous peaks.

The stronger feel of luxury and exclusivity generated a higher number of more affluent wedding, restaurant and hotel bookings.

Our casual use and bookings radio advert demonstrates the style perfectly.

The style can then be used for specific promotions such as wedding venue hire but keep a consistent image.
